Flathead County Sheriff's Office received a report that someone with a sweet tooth and a sour heart bought six boxes of Krispy Kreme doughnuts from a fundraising booth in the Kmart parking lot. The woman paid with a counterfeit $50 bill.
Officers responded to a report of a vehicle hitting a bear on U.S. 2 between Coram and West Glacier Friday afternoon. The occupants were fine. The bear, despite suffering an injured leg, lumbered off into the woods. Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks was called.
Two brother were fighting and creating a disturbance on Montana 206 in Columbia Falls Friday night. One was arrested on disorderly conduct.
A citation was issued to a suspicious person at Doris Creek Campground.
