Kalispell police were called about a reckless driver coming into Kalispell from near Majestic Valley Arena Monday. The driver reportedly almost caused several wrecks before he was stopped by an officer on Main Street. Suspected of driving drunk, the man was taken to the jail, where it was learned that he is a diabetic and his blood sugar was severely out of line. Instead of a cell, he went to the hospital, where he was treated and released. Police Chief Frank Garner said occasionally drivers in diabetic distress appear to be intoxicated.

An older man with a backpack was told that he is not welcome to return to Flathead Industries, where he peered in windows and yelled profanities Monday.

Skateboarders outside Central School Museum were warned that they aren't welcome again there, either.

Other youths reportedly threw rocks at ducks at Woodland Park.

Someone complained about a gathering of about 16 teenagers on Main Street, but an officer found they were pretty quiet and were causing no trouble, except for one young driver whose car had no muffler.

A woman said she was clipped by a logging truck as she rode her bike on South Main Street. There were several other complaints about bad driving.

A man was arrested for trespassing after someone reported seeing him try to break into a vehicle on 10th Avenue West at 2:40 a.m. Tuesday.

After a theft report, a woman was arrested on a probation violation.

Officers counseled people involved in a fight at Touch of Grace. A woman said a man stalks her at work.

A car had been abandoned for quite a while on Two Mile Drive before some kids broke a window in it.

Officers are investigating a report that an elderly woman is being defrauded.

A counterfeit bill was reported at Magic Diamond Casino.
