Sheriff's officers, Marion ambulance and ALERT were called to the scene of an accidental shooting Friday night on Murr Creek Road. The victim apparently stepped in front of his friend while the friend was shooting off his .22 rifle. The man was hit in the center of his back.

Kalispell fire department responded to 12 calls.
