Flathead County Sheriff's Office took a report about a man who said he'd be home in an hour at about 11 a.m. Tuesday and still wasn't home by Tuesday evening. Authorities learned that he might have gone fishing and launched a low-key search, involving deputies and the Department of Natural Resources and Conservation. The man was reportedly seen fishing Wednesday morning and was found to be unharmed.
Curbs were spray painted and parking signs were stolen on Grand Drive in Bigfork. A rock was thrown through a window on Fifth Street Northwest in Hungry Horse. A house on Rainbow Drive was hit with paint balls of unknown color.
A gun was stolen on East Edgewood Drive.
Trespassers on Coon Springs Road left a note with their phone number for the property owner.
A man called a woman's cell phone and asked for a man she doesn't know. He told her he'd call back the next day and see if her story changes. Then he called on her house phone and asked the same questions.
A man who sat on a porch on Cayuse Lane and drank Tuesday evening wasn't welcome by the resident, who wanted him removed.
Three boys harassed a woman in a wheelchair and bounced on her truck on Ridgewood Drive, refusing to leave. A deputy contacted the boys' parents about their behavior. Six men sat at the Old Steel Bridge in a white Toyota Camry. They reportedly threatened to "do stuff" to someone else who was there.
A woman who allegedly caused a drunken disturbance at a bar in Evergreen was stopped at Woody's, where she backed into a patrol car when it pulled up. She was arrested.
On Patrick Creek Road, a man who is selling a dog got an e-mail from someone who claimed to have sent him a check for $5,000 and wanted the excess returned. Another person used the same ruse, but stated the check was for $2,400.
A man reported being assaulted May 10 on Depot Street.
Last week, a car was egged on West Cottonwood Drive. Tuesday night, gas was siphoned from the same vehicle.
A woman reportedly threatened another woman on Columbia Meadows Drive.
