County gravel pits took a hit over the weekend, according to the Flathead County Sheriff's Office.

At one near Marion, gas was stolen from fuel tanks. At one on Cemetery Road, batteries were stolen and headlights were broken on a truck.

A boy on Jellison Road was arrested after his family reported he was ungovernable. An adult son was arrested on East Reserve Drive after his behavior caused concern.

A man reportedly assaulted a woman on U.S. 2 west of Columbia Falls.

Two men on motorcycles reported going 120 to 150 miles per hour on U.S. 93 were stopped by Whitefish police.

On Silverleaf Drive, two men and a woman reportedly fought and left before deputies arrived. Also on Silverleaf Drive, a resident heard noises from under a porch, but nothing unusual was found.

A man reported his "ex-girlfriend" stole things and vandalized his house on U.S. 93. A deputy found that the couple is married and decided their dispute is a civil disagreement, not a criminal matter.

It was a bad day to be a chicken on the Swan Highway on Sunday, when a grizzly attacked.

There was horn-honking, tail-gating, and finger-flipping Monday on Montana 35.

Tools were stolen from a truck at D.C. Truck Repair. A stereo was stolen from a vehicle at Jim Dowen car dealership.
