Whitefish police

Whitefish police took two reports of stolen cars. A 1993 tan Ford Taurus station wagon was stolen on West Second Street, sometime between Saturday and Wednesday. The sheriff's department reported that the car was found, abandoned, on Foy's Canyon Road Sunday. Keys were left in the vehicle. A gray 2004 Chevy Tahoe with maroon trim was stolen from RE/MAX. Keys were left in that vehicle, too.

Noise was a problem Tuesday night at Super 8 motel.

At the Hide-Out lounge, a customer made off-color comments and caused discontent. So did a man who talked to himself in the post office parking lot.
