Kalispell Police

| November 2, 2005 1:00 AM

On Halloween night, Kalispell Police didnt object to the scream mask one boy wore or the pillowcase another boy had on. But, as the teens on Empire Loop learned, a realistic-looking toy gun isnt an acceptable accessory when it scares people.

A man on Fifth Avenue West had the cowboy hat and poor driving skills to pass as a drunken cowboy on Halloween. Hed parked his truck and gone into a house by the time officers arrived.

A wallet was stolen from a vehicle. Other break-ins were reported to vehicles on Northridge Drive, Fourth Avenue West North, Eighth Avenue West, Mission Trail, and Fifth Avenue West.

Five under-age drinkers were cited on Fifth Avenue West North and two more were caught on West Arizona Street. A 14-year-old drinker was cited on Riverview Drive.

A man on Fourth Avenue East was arrested for disorderly conduct. A man was arrested for a restraining-order violation on Begg Park Road.

Residents were shell-shocked on Ninth Avenue West where eggs were thrown. Someone saw two people get out of a white car and scoop up items from a yard on Honeysuckle Loop and then throw them into the street. A plywood swan flower box was stolen on Sixth Avenue West.

A couples disturbance on Hawthorn Avenue prompted a call to police. Also on that street, a woman reported two other women threatened her and then two men tried to steal her furniture. Harassing phone calls were reported on Woodland Park Drive.

Two boys tried to get through a sliding glass door on Ridgeview Drive.

A man found his stolen gun at a pawn shop.
