The third annual Tole Booth Christmas Bazaar continues from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at 515 First Ave. W. in Kalispell behind Flathead Travel.

Shop for handpainted decorative gifts, shabby chic furniture, Christmas items and more.

Ski club sponsors annual sale today

The Big Mountain Ski Club has its annual ski sale today from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Whitefish Armory.

Good quality, clean used sporting equipment of all kinds will be on sale by consignment. Qualified technicians will be on hand, ski club memberships will be sold, andski club members will sign children up for lessons.Representatives from Big Mountain will be on hand to take pictures and sell passes.

Unsold items need to be picked up between 4 and 6 p.m. today. Those items not picked up at that time become the property of the ski club.

Book sale benefits county library

The Friends of the Flathead County Librarys annual book sale continues from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Kalispell Center Mall.

All proceeds from the sale will go toward supporting the childrens department, library bookmarks and the newsletter, and have also been used to purchase shelving, books and videos.

Homemade goods for sale in Condon

Condon invites everyone to its Community Arts & Crafts Fair 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Condon Community Hall on Montana 83, mile marker 42.

There will be everything from handmade candles and soaps, metal art, crochet and needlework to jewelry, log furniture, stained glass and pottery.

Firemens Ball scheduled tonight

Swan Valley Emergency Services hosts its 10th Annual Firemens Ball tonight from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Swan Valley Community Hall, mile-marker 42 in Condon. Admission at the door is $5 for a single or alumni and $15 per family.

Live music will be provided by Jay Dipaola.

Live and silent auctions, raffles and door prizes. Appetizers will be available throughout the evening.

Proceeds will go toward Condon Fire Hall improvements.

Nursery hosts holiday bazaar

Hoopers Nursery hosts its sixth annual Home Grown Holiday Craft Bazaar today from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Browse more than 75 arts and crafts booths.

The practitioners of Falun Dafa

offer a free workshop in lotus flower origami today from 10 a.m. to noon at Flathead Valley Community College in the Business and Social Sciences Building. Learn the ancient art of origami and create a lotus flower. All materials will be provided.

Local artists and crafts persons will sell their goods at the Kalispell Senior Centers fall bazaar and rummage sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at the center, 403 Second Ave. West in Kalispell. The public is welcome to attend.

Youre invited to the annual Harvest Dinner for the Somers/Lakeside Volunteer Fire Departments from 4 to 8 p.m., today at the Somers Fire Hall. Turkey and all the trimmings, along with homemade pumpkin pie. The cost for adults is $8; children 6-12, $4; under 5, free.

Support Flathead High Schools sports and extra-curricular activities at the Booster Clubs 2005 auction tonight at the WestCoast Kalispell Center Hotel. The clubs major fund-raiser of the year kicks off with a silent auction at 6 p.m. and live auction at 7 p.m.
