talked to three youths on property behind the Ol River Bridge Inn in Columbia Heights to see if the mallet they handed over to a resident was the cause of damage there. One said he found the mallet on the property. The kids also told the deputy they didnt break the windows and they wont do it again.

Deputies tracked down three juveniles in a golf cart on the West Glacier golf course Saturday evening, on a felony theft report. Two boys were charged and a girl was taken to a residence.

A vehicle reported stolen from the Presentine fishing access Saturday night may have been the same one, deputies said, which rammed a garage door at Advanced Auto Repair and tripped its burglar alarm.

Just after midnight, a possibly stolen vehicle was found on private property next to the ball park in Martin City.

A local business woman received a scam fax Saturday, asking for a business associate to go to London to pick up $86 million. Instead, she called Homeland Security, who told her to call the Sheriffs Office. She did.

Another fax scam came in on Whitefish Trail.

Shooting was heard on game preserve property above Spruce Park in Evergreen Saturday. Fish and Game investigated the potential of illegal hunting.

Several calls came in from people who read a Daily Inter Lake story about juveniles stealing items from cars, hoping their missing items were among those recovered.

Injuries were reported from an accident on Fifth Avenue East early Sunday. Kalispell ambulance made a run to the hospital.

A caller reported a grizzly bear at the Soup Creek campground Sunday morning.

One mailbox was smashed and another blown up, on Conrad Drive in Kalispell and on Voerman Road by Whitefish.

An injured doe with an arrow stuck in her head was reported Sunday afternoon on Twin Bridges Road.
