Kalispell and Smith Valley fire departments went to U.S. 2 west of town when a 10-year-old boy tumbled from a van and possibly broke his leg. A report to Kalispell Fire Department of a fire on Airport Road turned out to be a typical event at the sewer treatment plant, where methane gas is burned off.

Whitefish ambulance was needed at a crash on Kalispell Avenue on Monday.
