took a report of a woman in overalls banging on doors at the El Rancho Motel at about 2 a.m. Monday. She said something unintelligible, but didn't seem to be threatening anyone. A deputy gave her a ride home.

A theft from a vehicle was reported on Whitefish Stage Road. On School Addition Road, someone apparently kicked in a door and went through the house, but nothing appeared to be missing.

Someone confronted two boys who appeared to be trying to break into the Veterans Administration office Sunday. The boys left. Later, two boys were seen trying to get into a fence at Affordable Sports, but they reportedly had a plausible reason to be there.

A disturbance at the Kila community trash site was a domestic disturbance that later imploded at a Browns Meadow Road home, where a man climbed onto a roof and was arrested for partner assault and contempt. Other domestic problems were reported on McQuire Lane, Lakeside Boulevard and Stoner Creek Road.

A cash register is missing from McDonald's. Medication was stolen at Tamarack Lodge. A sign that says Dahl Road is missing.

There was a complaint about a man in a backpack and a light green jacket who was talking to the air in the Wal-Mart parking lot and later asked real, live people for money. A man who laughed at traffic and threw ice chunks at vehicles near Lakeside was told to stop that.

A bar fight in Hungry Horse on Friday night damaged a vehicle.

Someone has been forging a Lower Valley Road man's name. Internet fraud was reported on Elk Trail.
