is investigating a reported assault on Leisure Drive, where a half-naked man was found laying outside, badly beaten, at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday. He was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center. He reportedly said he was kidnapped and assaulted.

A very bad driver was reported crossing the median on U.S. 2 near Super 1 and then driving the wrong direction in traffic. The small yellow Ford truck was last seen changing direction again and swerving in traffic before it vanished.

Doors and windows were stolen from a construction site near Somers School. Prescription drugs were stolen from Taylor Road. A garage and house were broken into on Ashley Lake.

A snowmobile fell through ice on Red Meadow Lake; no one was hurt.

An ex-boyfriend showed up at a home on Lenwood Drive, where he threw and broke things, but didn't hurt a woman there.

Tuesday morning, 46 loose horses were founded up from a road about a half-mile south of Fair-Mont-Egan School.

A man found sitting in the snow in a ditch, drinking, on Montana 206, was given a voucher for a taxi ride home.
