Conflicting stories of road rage

came Thursday from Montana 35 near Bigfork. A woman reported to Flathead County Sheriff's Office that a man ran her off the road. When she stopped her vehicle, the 300-pound man assaulted her, she said. Meanwhile, the man called 911 into Lake County, where he said the woman pulled out in front of him and when they stopped their vehicles, she slapped him in the face.

A domestic disturbance on Kings Way was only verbal.

On Conrad Drive, a resident said she was assaulted by someone with a snowball when she got her mail. More snowballs were launched at a vehicle on Montclair Drive.

Trees were cut down on Cougar Trail. A utility trailer was stolen in Kila. A wallet was stolen at the Players Club in Evergreen. Weapons were stolen from a house near Columbia Falls.

Unwelcome people were reported at Chumley's bar; there were two reports of an unwanted man on Blackmer Lane.

On Shady Lane, someone shoved a broom into a resident's door while she was out.

A woman said she received a threatening text message from her son. A woman said her boyfriend's former girlfriend called with promises of physical harm.

A man who found a dog chasing his rabbits on Airport Road penned the beast in a horse trailer until the owner could be found, but the dog's barking finally drove him to crate up the dog and drop it off at the animal shelter overnight.

Parents on Foy's Lake Road called for help with a 13-year-old girl who refuses to go to school. A boy reportedly assaulted another boy at Evergreen School.

Grass was damaged by a vehicle at Eagle Bend Golf Course.

A man was arrested for DUI Thursday morning in Columbia Heights. Another was arrested Thursday afternoon.

An Evergreen resident complained of a neighbor's marathon domestic disturbance and the ensuing noise Thursday.
