went to the mall Thursday night when there was a lot of yelling by young men outside. It turns out they'd been blasted with water balloons. The balloon bearers struck again at Peterson School and on Fourth Street West, where their inflatable vessels were filled with shaving cream before they hit a targeted vehicle.

Who would shoot an arrow into his yard, wondered a resident on Sixth Avenue West.

A woman was warned she had to leave a home on Fifth Avenue East, where she wasn't wanted.

For the second day in a row, a man appeared at the Scoreboard bar, trying to give away money. Someone took him home, but others worried about the motives of the volunteer chauffeur, so an officer went to the man's home to check on him. He was fine, but his music was too loud.

On Third Street East, a resident complained of unwelcome family members who arrive and bang on the door.

A man put the rest back into restroom, when he took up sleeping in the men's room at the Bulldog bar for a few nights. He was sent on his way.

Tires were slashed, a vehicle bra was removed, and writing was left on a defenseless vehicle on 10th Avenue West. A CD player was stolen from a vehicle on Garland Street. A cell phone was stolen from a vehicle at City Brew.

On U.S. 93, a motorcycle rider and pickup driver exchanged unfriendly words.

The animal warden trapped and relocated troublesome Squirrel No. 16 on College Avenue.
