Terrilyn Peterson Sweet, 64

Terrilyn Peterson Sweet, 64, 'walked into the loving arms of Jesus' Nov. 15, 2005.

Terri was born in Kalispell, April 23, 1941. She spent most of her life playing on Main and Idaho as her folks owned and operated the Peterson Motel on this intersection. She graduated from Flathead County High School in 1959 and shortly thereafter moved to Seattle, where she lived until the time of her death.

She married James Robert Timlick Jr. in 1959. Four children were born in the next four years from this union. Terri married Steven Sweet in 1976 and shared with him her next 29 years to the time of her death.

She will be remembered most for her childlike faith and zeal for life. No problem she encountered ever was greater than her God. Terri had a contagious faith and positive outlook. She was known for her avid reading and drama. She was a loving friend and encourager of many. Her children and grandchildren were her treasure. Her life centered around her children and grandchildren and being a part of their activities.

She was an active member of her church, participating on numerous church committees.

Terrilyn is survived by her husband, Steven Sweet; her children, Vicki and husband, Jim Gaines, of Bigfork, Allan Timlick of Seattle, Jill and husband, Randy Curtis, of Kalispell, and Holly and husband, Rico Cayetano, of Kent, Wash.; five stepchildren, whom she loved as her own, Laura, Michelle, Melissa, Andrew and April; sister, LaLonnie Peterson; 29 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters in-law.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Phyllis Peterson, and best friend, Barbara Coleman.

Celebration of her life was held Saturday, Nov. 19, in Seattle. Burial will be 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23, at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery, Kalispell.
