arrested a woman, 25, on suspicion of assault on a minor after she allegedly punched an 8-month-old baby in the White Birch campground in Evergreen on Sunday night. The baby was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center, and the woman was taken to the county jail.

A man reported that he was punched in the face on Harmony Road by a woman, who later was located by deputies and cited for assault.

A person reported Monday morning that a speed-limit sign had been ripped out of the ground on Birch Street in Evergreen.

Items were reported stolen Monday morning from a truck that was parked on Mountain Drive in Hungry Horse.

Signs were reported stolen from trees on Belton Road in West Glacier.

A sign was reported stolen from Stumptown Snowboards on Big Mountain.

A Hungry Horse resident reported that his 1997 Yukon had been stolen sometime Sunday night.

Two women and a man were caught shoplifting at Shopko Monday afternoon.
