Lucille Katherine Mitchell Jaye, 85

Lucille Katherine Mitchell Jaye passed away at age 85 on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2005, in Kalispell, of natural causes.

She was born May 29, 1920, to Barney and Emma Mitchell in Rose, Idaho.

She married Reuben R. Schara in 1938, and they were divorced in 1966. She married Eugene J. Jaye in 1972.

Lucille spent her childhood in the Blackfoot area and the remainder of her life in the Northwestern states.

Lucille had a great love of music, which she passed on to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by one son, Rulon and Cherlene Schara of Kalispell; one daughter, Sherma and Dean Bergevin of Tehachapi, Calif.; and one sister, Thelma and Adam Yancey of Blackfoot; 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Jaye; one son, Richard (Betty) Schara, of Elgin, Kan.; one granddaughter, Amanda (Carl) Rogers, of Oregon, and an infant sister, Zelma.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, at the Grove City Cemetery.
