The Flathead County Sheriff's Office got a report from a resident on Coram's Seville Lane on Thursday night that someone had broken into his house through a window and had taken guns, including three pistols, along with medicine.

There was a report of a black bear walking down the middle of Riverside Road near Creston.

And late Thursday, there was a report from a man at North Hilltop Road who was spooked by a bear with two cubs laying next to the kitchen door, near an open window. The report was forwarded to Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks.

A teenage girl was detained for shoplifting at Shopko.

A man, 25, was arrested by a deputy early Friday after the man had taken a pickup from a Holt Drive residence and then crashed it into a tree in the Conrad Cemetery. The man was charged with motor vehicle theft and driving under the influence of alcohol.

CDs were reported stolen from a vehicle parked on River Road.

A cellular phone was reported stolen from a teacher's car, and a purse was reported stolen from another vehicle parked at Lakeside School.

A two-foot tall carved bear was reported stolen from a house on Mission Trail Road.

An Evergreen resident reported a break-in and theft from a recreational vehicle, with bedding and pots and pans taken.
