When Flathead County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a noise disturbance on Lion Mountain Loop Road just after midnight on Sunday, they discovered someone running heavy equipment in a new subdivision. Turns out the late-night operator was a construction company employee who wanted to show his girlfriend what he did for a living.

There was a report of shots fired on Swan Hill Drive.

A woman reported that her son and his friend forged her name to buy cell phones at a Kalispell big-box store.

There was a report of loose cows on Farm to Market Road. Officers attempted to herd them into a nearby field.

A man allegedly threatened to kill his fianc'8ee Saturday evening on Rockwood Road.

On Saturday night a black bear was spotted in a driveway on Armory Road; a second black bear was seen on River Road and a yearling cub was reported behind Kmart.
