Kalispell police checked on the welfare of a man who told his ex-girlfriend he had a bottle of tequila and two guns and was going into the woods. He returned home safely.

Someone threw something at the back of a bicycle rider on Fourth Street West.

For the second time in a couple of days, a 911 call was made from a building under construction on Corporate Drive, where there is no phone.

A man was arrested at Michael's Exxon on U.S. 2 for possession of drugs and partner assault.

A vehicle was ransacked on Hawthorn Avenue. Rubber flooring pieces and two boxes of carpet squares were stolen from the Best Buy store under construction. A gold and diamond necklace was stolen from a home on Fifth Avenue West. Money was stolen from a Liberty Street home.

A resident reported seeing a father slap a little girl at Syke's on Tuesday. The witness confronted the man who reportedly became upset and left.
