Columbia Falls police got calls Thursday about a bear and her three cubs trying to cross U.S. 2 near Oh's body shop. An officer blew an air horn to drive the animals back into the trees, and a game warden was notified.
An assault between a mother and son was reported near Super 1 Foods.
A backpack was stolen from a vehicle on Sixth Street East. A stereo was stolen from a vehicle on Nucleus Avenue. Tools were taken from a construction site on 14th Avenue West.
Two boys were charged with disorderly conduct after a fight at the high school.
A sexual assault was reported on Second Avenue West.
