Kalispell police arrested a man Thursday night after he allegedly held a realistic-looking gun against a man's head and demanded money. Christopher Boer, 21, is charged with assault with a weapon - a felony. Amber Reynolds, 22, is charged with trespassing. The two reportedly knocked on a door at the Rosebriar Inn and pushed their way inside when the 32-year-old resident answered the door. He reportedly wrestled the gun away from Boer; Boer and Reynolds were arrested downtown a few hours later. The BB gun Boer used reportedly looks like a real semiautomatic handgun.

On Hawthorn Avenue, graffiti appeared on a garden shed.

There's no telling what you'll find when you move into a new place. A new resident on Eighth Street West discovered drugs and paraphernalia; on Fifth Avenue East, it was a flash-bang grenade simulator and flares.

On U.S. 93, a man said a boy on a go-cart nearly ran him over. The driver - an adult - got some safe-driving tips from an officer.

On Nicklaus Drive, someone showed up looking for work as a window washer and got pretty pushy about it, according to a resident.

A purse was stolen at Sawbuck's. Tools were taken from a truck at the Finish Line. Gas was siphoned from vehicles on Sixth Avenue East. Artwork depicting two or three deer vanished from the KM Building.

On Liberty Street, someone threw things at windows and banged on a door. People showed up in a back yard on Third Avenue West and then moved their society down the street at about midnight when the resident got home.

One girl reportedly threatened to beat up another at the Rosebriar. A man with significant alcohol in his system attracted attention with his belligerence at one business and the way he nearly hit a vehicle when he left it. He went to another business where an officer found him and took custody of the man's keys until he sobered up.
