Lt. Col. Reid Eveson Adams, 62

Lt. Col. Reid Eveson Adams, 62, passed away Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005. He was born Dec. 2, 1942, in Lethbridge, Alberta, to Lemuel and Annie (Eveson) Adams.

Reid served in the U.S. Army for 26 years before retiring to Lakeside.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jill Adams, of Lakeside; his son, Reid G. Adams, and wife, Bobbi, of Illinois; his daughter, Jennifer S. Fisher, and husband, Geoff, of Utah; five grandchildren, Ashley, Kelly, Thomas, Brady and Trevor; also one brother, Donald Adams, of Wyoming; and three sisters, Elna Brady of Salt Lake City, and Eileen Phillips and Marion Miller, both of Alberta.

Funeral services for Reid will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1380 Whitefish Stage, in Kalispell. Burial will be at the Riverview Cemetery in Hamilton at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, with military honors.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Home/Options Hospice, 175 Commons Loop Suite 100, Kalispell, MT 59901; or to the Lakeside QRU.
