Lindsay V. Clarke, 54, passed away suddenly Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005, at his beloved farm.

Lindsay was born in Kalispell on Aug. 31, 1951. He attended grade school at Lake Blaine and graduated from high school at Flathead High. He went to college for two years and became an excellent meat cutter. His mom said he went to college behind a plow as there was work to do!

Lindsay is survived by his mother, Junice; a brother, Ervin; a sister, Janice; and his beloved children, Michael, Jessica and Cody.

Lindsay was such a hard worker, whether it be farming, logging or truck driving. He just didn't know how to stop. His true love of work was farming, and his pride and joy were his children.

"Dad, you are Cody's best bud forever and Jessica's best friend in her life. You, Dad, are the dad of the millennium. Goodbye for now."

A funeral service for Lindsay will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, 2005, at the Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Viewing will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today, Oct. 12, at the Columbia Mortuary.

An account has been set up at Glacier Bank for Jessica and Cody Clarke.
