A semi-truck driver was cited after making a U-turn on U.S. 2 near Costco Saturday morning, causing a serious accident.

According to Montana Highway Patrol reports, Melody Housour, 31, of Lewiston, Idaho, was making a delivery to Costco and realized she had missed the turn for the warehouse business. She reportedly made a U-turn into the path of a Kalispell man.

Everett Levitt, 80, was seriously injured in the crash. He was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Housour was cited for a right-of-way violation.

Agencies that were notified of the crash included Evergreen and Columbia Falls fire departments, the Sheriff's Office, Highway Patrol, and the hospital's ALERT helicopter.

Levitt no longer was listed as a patient at the hospital Wednesday.
