The Flathead County Sheriff's Office took a report that, for the past couple of days, a man has gotten out of a vehicle at a bus stop in Lakeside and talked to the children. He reportedly gave a cigarette to one child.

A dog reportedly snatched some kittens from a house on Caroline Road.

A woman said when she returned from alcohol treatment, she discovered someone living in her house.

Two hunters and their dog weren't welcome on private property on Montana 82.

A woman was parked on Twin Bridges Road, talking on her cell phone, when two vehicles pulled in and three people got out. They approached her in a threatening manner and then followed her for several miles, she said.

Family disturbances were reported on Duff Lane and East Reserve Drive.

Two people who "appeared to be kind of high" were reported at a store.

The sound of a neighbor's car horn at midnight prompted a complaint on Meadowlark Drive. On Poplar Drive, the sound was like a jackhammer on steel, according to the complaint at 12:30 a.m.; the industrious people there agreed to quiet down for the night. In further transgressions against tranquility, people on Harmony Road banged on a house, threw rocks, and seemed oblivious to the irony of where they were causing a disturbance.

A man in Hungry Horse confirmed that, yes, he had been shot in the rear end with a BB or pellet gun, but did not want medical attention.

A man called to say that he was nearly driven over by a vehicle at Big Mountain at 1 a.m. Thursday.

Another man said he didn't really have a complaint about a woman who came into his U.S. 2 house at 2 a.m., but hoped a deputy would intercept her because she had some of his property. An unwelcome woman also was reported at a radio station.

A man with thick eyebrows caused concern on Daley Lane by watching a house.

Wednesday and Thursday were the last days on Earth for several deer. Officers dispatched some that were hit by cars.

A theft from vehicles was reported on Pioneer Road. Timber was stolen in West Glacier. A cooler at the veterans food pantry was broken into and hamburger was stolen.
