Frank M. Bear, 56

Frank M. Bear, 56, passed away at his Kila home Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005.

Frank was born Jan. 9, 1949, in Downey, Calif., the son of Frank and Helen (Bartosch) Bear.

Frank was raised in Montana and joined the U.S. Navy where he served as a navigator on some of the Apollo landings. He also served in Vietnam and was honorably discharged.

He married Lee Ann delDuca in 1994, and they had 11 wonderful years together. Frank owned and operated Flathead Fire Protection and was respected by many business associates and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank.

Frank is survived by his wife, Lee Ann; mother, Helen Bear; children, Frank Bear, Katie Bear, and Theresa and her husband, Brandon Albrecht; stepchildren, Keith Franks and Amber Bucholz; siblings, Janet Wolverton, Collette Kirsch, and John and Michael Bear; grandchildren, Abby, Emily and Allison Albrecht,and Johnathan, Kasey Ann, Kylee, and Jacob Sauer.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. Burial will be afterward at Glacier Memorial Gardens.
