Gloria J. Vanisko, 79

Gloria J. Vanisko, 79, passed away Thursday, Oct. 13, 2005, at Immanuel Lutheran Home in Kalispell.

Gloria was born Nov. 5, 1925, in Concordia, Kan., to Delos and Fedora Gagnon Nadeau. Gloria was raised in Anaconda where she attended school, graduating from Central Catholic High School.

She married Victor H. Vanisko on Sept. 5, 1950. Gloria was a wonderful homemaker and beloved mother. Her favorite times were those spent with her daughters and their families. She especially loved the holidays and being surrounded by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Vic; and two brothers, Lyle Nadeau and Rene Nadeau.

She is survived by her two daughters, Marcia Hammon and her husband, Marvin, and Shelley Harland and her husband, Kevin; and two grandsons, Ryan Hammon and Chase Harland.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at St. Peters Catholic Church in Anaconda. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Anaconda. A reception will follow the burial at Holy Family Catholic Church.

The family request memorials in Gloria's name be sent to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
