Edgar D. Ed Malicote, 87

Edgar D. Ed Malicote, 87, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell.

Ed was born March 29, 1918, in Weiser, Idaho, to Edgar C. and Minnie Cook Malicote. He moved to Winston, Mont., at the age of 6, where he was raised and educated.

He ranched as a very young man, then became a truck driver. Ed drove for many years, retiring in 1962.

He moved to Kalispell in 1965.

Ed married Joan Fisher in Coeur d Alene, Idaho, on Dec. 27, 1967.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Joan.

He is survived by his significant other, Bonnie Wilson, and her family.

Ed has been cremated, and private family services have been held.
