Columbia Falls police arrested a man Thursday night for assault, resisting arrest, violating a restraining order, obstructing an officer, trespassing and disorderly conduct. It happened on Sixth Street East, where his estranged wife lives. He allegedly trashed the house and assaulted someone. He reportedly fled from officers, who used a Taser to subdue him.

A chainsaw was stolen from Pinewood Park. It belongs to the city.

A boy who was allegedly involved in shoplifting at Smith's turned out to be wanted on a felony warrant.

A home on Nucleus Avenue was reportedly burglarized.
