Flathead County sheriff

| October 22, 2005 1:00 AM

It sounded like a fight when a couple started screaming at Foy's Lake after midnight. A Flathead County sheriff's deputy arrived to learn they had just been skinny dipping. They were also too intoxicated to drive, so a friend came to pick up the soggy shriekers.

Albumen attackers struck around the valley, launching eggs on Mission Trail, Mission Way South, East Oregon Street, Ranch Road, and at several homes in Kalispell.

Harassment was reported on Deerfoot Trail.

A 2- or 3-year-old girl found walking by herself around Helena Flats School was returned to her sister, who was supposed to be watching her.

An officer counseled people involved after an assault was reported on Parliament Drive.

In Hungry Horse, someone complained that a resident shoots at dogs. Near Bigfork, someone threatened to kill a resident's kittens.

A couple yelled at Meadow Manor. On Tamarack Lane, a woman reported that neighbors harass her. A man was arrested in Coram after a report that he threatened and hit a woman. On Meadowlark Lane, the problem was that she hit him and he bit her; no one was arrested. A couple on U.S. 93 near Whitefish separated after a disturbance over car keys.

A CD player and other items were relocated from a vehicle on Somers Stage Road.

It didn't work when someone stole things from Canyon Foods and then tried to return them for cash.
