Marjerrison, Sibbert post best times for FVCC

LEWISTON, Idaho - The Flathead Valley Community College cross country teams participated in the Lewis and Clark State Open Saturday.

The men and women runners all posted season best times, but they didn't have enough competitors to tally team scores.

Desiree Marjerrison finished 24th overall for FVCC with a time of 21:07 for 5K. Janelle Sladek was 29th in 21:45.

Ian Sibbert led the FVCC men, 25th in 30:35 for 8K. Paul Sperbuti was 30th, 31:29; Charles Weimer 35th, 35:36; and Zeb Matteson 36th, 35:41.

Up next for FVCC is the Yellowjacket Invite in Billings on Saturday.
