The Flathead County Sheriff's Office responded to an assault report on West Lakeshore Drive at about 2 a.m. Tuesday. The two men involved decided that they have been friends for a long time, had had too much to drink, and didn't wish to file charges.

Paint balls festooned a vehicle at Nickel Charlie's. A bowling ball didn't spare the windshield it was thrown through on Tamarack Lane.

A gun was stolen from a vehicle in Bigfork. Identities were stolen on West Valley Drive and on Antelope Trail. Solar lights were stolen on Winchester Drive.

A girl went to the youth jail after kicking in a bedroom door on Smith Lake Road.

A resident on Dawn Drive reported Monday that the house was hit with paintballs last Sunday. A boat in a storage unit area at Meadow Manor was vandalized.

A hunter reported lost in the Kila area returned home, late.

Threats were reported on Lower Valley Road.

The door to the Lakeside Post Office was damaged.

Someone unhitched a white 1989 Ford flatbed truck from a trailer and drove away from Four Seasons Lot Service. A blue 1986 Ford Victoria was stolen in the county. Jet fuel and gasoline were stolen at the airport. A widow reported that her grandson stole her dead husband's clothing and she wants it back; she also called the White House. A yellow loader was stolen from the county.

Two fathers reported the mother of their children took them to Choteau and did not return them as agreed. They were found to be OK.

A story on U.S. 2 changed when a woman first said a man pulled up, asked her some questions and gave her pictures of himself naked. Later, she said she simply saw the pictures in his car and he didn't make any comments to her.

A dispute between neighbors on Eagle Creek involves a land easement. A woman called from a bathroom where she said she was hiding from a man who was assaulting her.

A 22-year-old man was arrested on having sex with a 15-year-old girl who is not old enough to give legal consent. A sexual assault reported on West Cottonwood Drive is under investigation.
