The Whitefish Fire Department and the Columbia Falls Fire Department

were dispatched Thursday night to a fire that destroyed a house just off U.S. 93 South of Whitefish. The structure was knocked down by 2 a.m. Friday.

The Montana Highway Patrol picked up a woman, 43, for driving under the influence of alcohol and criminal endangerment.

Columbia Falls Ambulance responded to a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 2 near Hungry Horse late Thursday. The ambulance transported a person to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Marion Ambulance responded to an accident involving a vehicle that hit another car on U.S. 2 and then went off a steep embankment Friday morning. The ambulance ended up transporting at least one victim to the Kalispell hospital.
