Deputies with the Flathead County Sheriff's Office went to a domestic problem at a home where a woman said a man slapped her and knocked her down. Officer found evidence to the contrary and arrested her. Both people were cited in a domestic disturbance on Meadowlark Drive. Yelling and screaming was reported at Alpine Inn. Other disturbances were reported in the jail, on Stoner Creek Road and on Harbin Hill Road.

There was a report of a 16-year-old girl whose parents had abandoned her. A deputy called her phone number, which was no longer in service, but referred callers to another number. At that number, a woman answered and told the deputy to go away. An officer went to the house and found the entire report was unfounded.

The door to a rental unit was smashed on Seville Lane.

A stereo was stolen from a vehicle on Dale Drive. Golf clubs were stolen from a vehicle at Glacier View Golf Course. Batteries were stolen from bulldozers on Glacier Hills West Drive. Items were stolen on U.S. 2 West.

A deputy was asked to stand by when a company repossessed a vehicle in Pleasant Valley, where the last time employees tried to repossess it, someone threatened to shoot them.

Harassing mail and phone calls were reported on Bernard Road. Harassment was reported on Montana 206.

A parent on Ridgewood Drive wanted a deputy to talk to her son about his interest in setting fires.

A woman went to Arends Gas and Cast store in Columbia Heights, saying she lost $100 in the store. She demanded that the clerk empty his pockets. He did, displaying three $20 bills and a $10 bill. As he was returning the cash to his pocket, she reportedly ripped it out of his hands and left.

Loose cows returned to U.S. 2 near Columbia Falls at 3 a.m. Wednesday. They were herded off the highway. At 6 a.m., though, a vehicle struck a cow near the Blue Moon, backing up traffic and causing complaints.

A Krause Lane resident found it suspicious that a vehicle was parked in his driveway when he went to work Wednesday morning. The vehicle had its lights off and left when the resident came out. The resident then followed the vehicle and it went back to his driveway. The vehicle eventually left toward Bigfork.

The "back-up beep" from gravel trucks was too loud , according to a complaint from Jellison Road.
