| September 3, 2005 1:00 AM

The Flathead County Sheriff's Office checked out a report of a man dancing naked in the middle of the street in Martin City, between the post office and the South Fork bar. A deputy found the man, fully clothed. There was perhaps some misinterpretation involved between the words "nudity" and "Norwegian." The man was taken care of by a friend and is scheduled to return to Norway soon.

Two men had a manly disagreement at Forest Acres.

A man who caused concern when he was seen slumped over his steering wheel behind Flathead Electric Coop explained that he was just fixing his boot.

One of the people involved in a disturbance on Bierney Creek Road was warned that he should take care of a warrant he has in Lewis and Clark County.

Another disturbance, on Electric Avenue in Bigfork, involved a woman who threatened to get a shotgun and shoot everyone. She wandered away and didn't return.

Prowlers reported on Montana 206 couldn't be found.

An older man with a beard and missing teeth isn't welcome to return to Town Pump near Wal-Mart.

There was some unwelcome urinating going on in that area, also.

Items were taken from a shop on Helena Flats Road. A puppy was taken from a yard and then returned to Somers Road. Gravel was stolen on Spotted Fawn Lane.

It's a mystery how a new fly rod, full tackle boxes and other equipment were stolen from a garage on Willow Glen Drive, where doors were locked and windows were boarded up.

A disturbance ensued at a home on U.S. 93 South, where a father discovered a 15-year-old girl chatting on the Internet with a 25-year-old man.

A teenager and mother butted heads on Park Street. An unhappy teen made holes in the outside of a house with a camping table on Conrad Drive.

A missing 75-year-old woman in the Edgewood Drive area was found to be safe.

Two stealthy men with lighted helmets reportedly hid in weeds in Hungry Horse. They were gone when a deputy arrived.
