Flathead County Sheriff's Office dispatched North Valley and Flathead search-and-rescue teams to help find two people missing overnight in the Jewel Basin. The 47-year-old man and 14-year-old boy went fishing at Wild Cat Lake on Monday and hadn't returned by late Monday night. They reportedly went through an area closed to visitors for helicopter logging. The pair were found, unhurt, Tuesday morning in the Wounded Buck area. They were reportedly overcome by darkness Monday night and decided to stay where they were until daylight.

A parent on Kings Way reported a girl was shot by a pellet gun.

A couple separated after a domestic disturbance on Riverside Drive. A man was arrested for violating a restraining order after a report of an assault and a stolen vehicle on Boone Road. When there's a nationwide extradition order for you on fraud charges, it's best not to call attention to yourself by yelling and screaming; a woman at a convenience store learned that when she was arrested Monday. A man and his customer-bothering, clerk-staring ways is not welcome back at Lucky Lil's Casino near Wal-Mart.

A safe is missing from Mackinaws Grill in Somers, where a deadbolt was broken out.

Unwelcome sounds in the night included knocking on a window in West Glacier and footsteps at Addison Square.

A caller accused a woman of leaving her young children home alone when she goes to the bar.

Not funny was a man joking inside a bank that "some people in Kalispell and Columbia Falls need to be murdered." A woman reported she was disturbed by the comment.

At Camelot Estates, dogs were hurt and homes were broken into. A burglary was reported on Batavia Lane.

Threats were made on Riverside Drive.
