Flathead County Sheriff's Office took several complaints about road rage. One involved the driver of a Subaru hatchback who overstated his point with a sledge hammer and an ax. A driver was cited after a complaint that he deliberately made a bad pass and tailgated. More road rage was reported on Dillon Road, where a man refused to let another driver pass and then made an odd arm gesture.

Bears made appearances on U.S. 2 west and on Martin Camp Road.

Two teenage girls on Columbia Falls Stage Road fought with their parents. There are conflicting stories about an assault reported on Helena Flats Road.

Explosives reported on Dorothy Street turned out to be road flares.

A man was seen crawling through a fenced area of a yard on Montana 40.

A homeowners association representative got an earful when he talked to a resident on Alpine Drive about debris in his yard.

Two trespassing men sighted in rifles on Blankenship Road.

Transients were reported living in a vehicle and piling up litter on Bernard Road. A man who bothered a woman and employees at Wal-Mart was sent on his way Thursday night, but reappeared at a nearby casino a few hours later for an encore performance. An officer sent him off again.

On Airport Road, evidence of drag-racing included an audience sitting in front of a house, four vehicles, and a finish line.

A driver who was suspicious of a vehicle parked outside of Wal-Mart parked close to the vehicle and was treated to a profane suggestion that he turn off his lights. A deputy found that one of the occupants of the suspicious vehicle is wanted on a warrant from North Carolina.

A couple harassed a bartender and renters damaged property.
