There was something about that teenager in a Mohawk - with earrings, a leather raincoat and black fingernails - that aroused suspicion Monday afternoon on Montana 35. Someone called the Flathead County Sheriff's Office to report the lad reclining in the grass between two businesses. He wasn't found to be committing anything more serious than a fashion crime and was given a ride by a deputy.

Every once in a while, a little girl calls a home on East Evergreen Drive and screams into the phone for an unknown reason.

A man who was bitten by a bat a few days ago was taken to the hospital Monday by the Kalispell Fire Department's ambulance when he suffered a reaction to rabies treatment.
