Kalispell police took a report of an elderly woman who cornered a cat on Eighth Street East and beat it. She didn't want to talk about it later.

A woman on Fifth Avenue East cornered a boy whom she allegedly caught stealing $10 from her house and wouldn't let him go until he gave it back.

After a disturbance was reported on Ninth Avenue West, a man was charged with obstructing an officer. A complaint about a teenager squealing his vehicle tires and damaging a mailbox on East Wyoming Street led to his arrest for alcohol possession.

Loiterers were unwelcome at Walgreen's. A yelling man was not wanted at Gresko's bakery. Two transients' assault on a restroom at Depot Park was unappreciated.

A man who allegedly threatened to burn down a Kalispell building was arrested by Columbia Falls police and taken to the hospital for an evaluation.
