Kalispell police

Pepsi wouldn't do for a vandal who apparently only drinks Coca-Cola. Kalispell police took reports from four local businesses that had their Coke vending machines vandalized Wednesday night. The thirsty thief hit soft-drink machines at Kalispell Beauty Supply, Pro Clean Car Wash and Brightside Laundry, then attacked another machine on Third Avenue East.

A chiropractor requested extra patrol in the area of his business near Woodland Park because transients have been setting up camp in the area. It didn't say whether the transients had bad backs.

Four runaway boys were arrested on Idaho Street and were given back to their parents.

Four dogs were runaways on the 500 block of Eighth Avenue West.
