COLUMBIA FALLS - Monica Burns had nine kills and six blocks and sister Donna Burns had 44 digs as the Columbia Falls Wildkats downed visiting Libby in a Northwestern A volleyball match Friday night.

Scores were 25-21, 25-22, 14-25, 22-25, 15-13.

"Once again, we came out pretty strong, but then we kind of stopped playing again, went on a rollercoaster ride," said Columbia Falls coach Josie Brown.

"We've done it in every game this year," she said.

The fifth game was neck and neck, but Columbia Falls senior Kate Marcille stepped up with several service aces.

"The girls kept the tempo up," Brown said.

Sam Schultz led the Lady Loggers with 12 kills and 10 digs. Shelby Barton added 29 assists and served six aces.

The Wildkats (2-1, 2-1) are off now until 7 p.m. Friday when they play host to Polson.
