The Flathead County Sheriff's Office received a call about a woman who allegedly went to Las Vegas two or three days ago, leaving her children home alone. A deputy who investigated took three boys to the Department of Family Services.

A deputy counseled families on West Cottonwood Drive, where one boy reportedly beat up another. A resident on Tamarack Lane complained about a neighbor who yells profanity.

On Smith Lake Road, something opened rabbit cages and killed the animals. The predator limited its actions to bunny brutality; horses, ducks and llamas were unhurt.

Thefts from cars were reported on Shady Lane and at Town Pump near Wal-Mart. Nearly $400 vanished from a room at Alpine Inn. Gas was siphoned on Nicholson Drive. A woman said she gave a neighbor a ride and then discovered $200 missing from her purse; the money was recovered and the neighbor was cited.

There is no explanation for why a man ran out of his house and threw something blue at a truck that was passing by.

A bear was found in a tree on Westwood Lane and another showed up in a yard on Nicholson Drive. A vehicle was discovered stuck in trees on Meadowlake Boulevard at 4 a.m. Friday.

Disturbances were reported on Trout Avenue in Coram, on North Hilltop Drive, on Kokanee Bend Drive, and in Hungry Horse.

There were two calls about a possible prowler overnight on Daly Lane. First, a resident saw what seemed like a camera flash and then heard someone run away. Then, there appeared a shadowy form of someone looking in a window.

A man asked for the Kalispell Fire Department to be dispatched to his home on Liberty Street. He suspected carbon-monoxide poisoning because he had slept all day, drank a pot of coffee and was still drowsy.

No gladiators could be found at a fight reported outside the Garden Bar.
