Jessica Marie (Barros) McCurdy, 27

Jessica Marie (Barros) McCurdy, 27, died Sept. 20, 2005, at a hospital in Phoenix, the cause of death undetermined.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Schnider Funeral Home. Vigil service is at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 27, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. The Funeral Liturgy is 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 28, at Our Lady of Lourdes, with Father Lou Krauth presiding.

She is survived by her husband, Adam, and her sons, Parker and Ethan; her parents, Sylvester and Darlene Barros, all of Great Falls; her grandmother, Phylus Abubo of Calipatria, Calif.; mother and father-in-law, Josie and Richard Schuster, her brother-in-law, Aaron, sister-in-law, Kristen, all of Columbia Falls; her godparents, Jesse and Christina Suazo of Moreno Valley, Calif.; and her godson, Zachary Dean of Great Falls.

Jessica was born at March AFB, California on Dec. 26, 1977, to Sylvester and Darlene Barros. The family moved to Great Falls when Jessica was nine years old. She attended grade school at Lewis & Clark, junior high at Paris Gibson Middle School, and graduated from CMR High School in 1996. In 2002, she graduated from Park University with a degree in social psychology with cum laude honors.

Jessica worked in retail sales and was employed at the Buckle, and as a manager of Victoria's Secret. She then chose to stay home and be a wife, and mother to her family.

In March of 1999, she met Adam McCurdy of Columbia Falls, who was stationed at Malmstrom AFB. They were married on Oct. 16, 1999, at Our Lady of Lourdes. Jessica had their first son, Parker, on March 9, 2000. They were at Malmstrom AFB until August of 2004. They then had an assignment to Holloman AFB, New Mexico, where they had another son, Ethan.

Jessica was a great wife, mother, daughter, friend and person. She loved her family and friends which were very important to her. She was devoted to them and them to her. Jessica loved the experiences she had in her life. She loved being with Adam, Parker and Ethan and all of her family members. Jessica was so supportive in all they did. They will miss her greatly. Their love for her will endure forever.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Maria Barros; grandfather, Sylvester Barros; her uncle, Richard Barros; and her grandfather, Melchor Abubo.
