Rosella Billi, 67

Rosella Billi, 67, passed away Thursday, Sept. 22, 2005, at her son's hone in Whitefish.

Rosella was born March 28, 1938, in Omak, Wash., to Wayne R. and Laura Flieger Newman, She was raised in Washington and Oregon, graduating from Newberg High in Newberg, Ore. She attended business school in Portland.

Rosella married James BilIi in 1961 in Salem, Ore. She worked as a secretary at the school of Veterinarian Medicine at Oregon State University. She loved knitting and especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Lowell Newman.

Rosella is survived by her husband, James; a son, Keith Billi; and one daughter, Cheryl Robertson; brothers and sisters, Lila Maheffy, Nina Rifenbery, Bonnie Weddle and Lance Newman; grandchildren, Brianna Neidigh, and Chet, Dawken and Whitney Billi.

Visitation for Rosella will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home Chapel with burial afterward at Glacier Memorial Gardens.
