Kalispell police

Kalispell police were alerted to a suspicious situation at Skippers. A man was noticed in a car with a child whose legs were sticking out the door. The car was gone when officers arrived to investigate.

Officers arrested a man in the early morning hours Thursday after he was found parked in the middle of U.S. 93 North and Commons Way, slumped over the steering wheel. He reportedly snoozed there for longer than half an hour.

A theft was reported of the night deposit at Red Dot Wireless. The deposit contained $235.

A man alerted police that a woman was sitting in the middle of the road on 10th Avenue West late Wednesday night and refused to move. Officers were more convincing and escorted her to her home.

Police were alerted that a very drunk man left the bank of the duck pond at Woodland Park and got in a vehicle. Officers transported him to Kalispell Regional Medical Center for evaluation.

An employee of Teletech reported that her car was stolen from the parking lot at Gateway West Mall. However, police decided the car was repossessed after learning she was three months behind in her payments.

A woman at Fifth Avenue West reported to police that her friend's boyfriend had beaten her up. Officers suggested she have injuries treated and make a police report when she sobered up.
