| April 1, 2006 1:00 AM

The Flathead County Sheriff's Department is investigating the disappearance of an employee, along with a company car, from Artisan Doors of Montana, a business located on U.S. 93 south of Kalispell. The vehicle was reported stolen Friday morning and the missing employee had apparently provided his employer with a false address and other personal information.

A person reported Thursday evening he had found a bicycle that had apparently been tossed off the cliffs west of Kila. It's a Stone Grinder mountain bike.

Never mind the sirens and guys in uniform - the West Valley Fire Hall on Whitefish Stage Road was paintballed Thursday night.

A man was cited for shoplifting at Shopko.

A person reported spilling about 10 gallons of gas and having trouble cleaning it up at the Four Corners Town Pump.

A patron of the Dam Town Bar in Hungry Horse reported being punched in the nose by another man.

A resident at the Mountain Villa apartments reported Friday morning that there was "blood all over the inside and outside" of her truck. Turns out that she had lent her vehicle to a man who was involved in a tire slashing incident at Fatt Boys bar in Kalispell Wednesday night. The man had cuts on his hands, and another man was arrested for criminal mischief, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended license.

A ski pass was reported stolen at the Big Mountain.

A Mountain Meadows Road resident reported his mailbox had been shot, and that his mail was full of BBs, presumably from a shotgun round.

There was a report of trees being spray painted with profanity near Evergreen Drive.
