was called on to relieve eviction friction in a couple of cases Tuesday.

On Columbia Mountain Road, a landlord said renters owe about $1,500 to him and about $700 to the electric company. When he went to the home, he was greeted by a teenager who said his parents were out of town and had no more information, he said.

The other case came from a woman who is trying to evict her son. He thwarted her plan by getting drunk, calling her names, pounding on a window and threatening to hurt himself. He decided to sleep in his truck. Domestic strife was reported on Whalebone Drive and on Sandy Hill Lane. An assault was reported at the Southfork Saloon.

A man was startled to learn that his stolen vehicle had been located in Polson. He didn't know it was stolen.

The old gray mule, she wandered in traffic near the Blue Moon. More ferocious was a turkey on South Hilltop that took on cars and the person who reported the vicious bird.
