The Flathead County Sheriff's Office
took a variety of complaints about shooting during the weekend. A resident on Hoffman Drive didn't like the way a youth was shooting at a turkey so close to a house. On Aspen Loop, paintballs were shot at a house. Also on Aspen Loop, someone heard a bang and then discovered a hole in the wallboard and a bullet on the floor. Eggs were fired at a home on Arbor Drive East.
A possible burglary was reported at a Ferndale home.
Across from Super 8 on U.S. 2, a man slumped in his vehicle, unresponsive. He was roused, and a deputy charged him with DUI.
On Dawn Drive, a woman reportedly kicked in a door, according to the second call in a night about problems at that home.
The frequent-caller-of-the night award went to a woman who kept calling a business because her husband was there and wouldn't go home. After a dozen calls in 10 minutes, an employee appealed for help from the sheriff's office. A deputy told the woman to stop calling.
A wallet was stolen from a vehicle at Blacktail Grocery. Prescription drugs were reported stolen from a home on Poplar Drive.
A domestic problem was reported on Shady Lane at 3 a.m. Monday. A 12-year-old boy reportedly threatened to burn down his house, but then went to school without any problem. A woman asked for help in getting a man to stop calling her.
The man who took off all his clothes at an event at Big Mountain disturbed an adult who had children there. A parent's attempt at evicting an 18-year-old son were unsuccessful.
