Clifford Lee Noll, 86

Clifford Lee Noll, 86, passed away Monday, April 10, 2006, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 4, 1919, in Lambert to Milo and Nora (Shouse) Noll. He was the oldest of three children. He attended elementary school in Lambert and high school in Peerless.

On May 21, 1944, he married Helen Clarke of Nashua, and they would have shared 62 years in May.

He and Helen moved to Vancouver, Wash., to work in the shipyards during World War II. In 1946, they moved to Kalispell, and he worked on the Hungry Horse Dam. In 1956, he was employed with Anaconda Aluminum Co., in Columbia Falls and worked there until he retired in 1982.

In May 1969, he joined the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aeries No. 234. In 1974 he was elected president and in 1994 he was inducted into their hall of fame. He was also a beneficial member of the Eagles. Clifford and his wife, Helen, were very active in the organization and were issued the Certification of Appreciation for the devoted service rendered to the Alzheimer's hamburger night.

When living in Evergreen he was a member of the Volunteer Fire Department for 11 years.

Cliff is survived by his loving wife, Helen Noll, of Kalispell; one daughter, Sharon Corneliuson, and husband, Vern, of Bigfork; one granddaughter, Corrina Arnold, of Amarillo, Texas; and two great-grandchildren, Aspen and Tre'; one brother, Don Noll, and wife, Mary Jane, of Quartzsite, Ariz.; with numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Clifford Lee Noll will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 13, at the Eagles, 37 First St. W., in Kalispell.

The family suggests memorials be given to the Eagles in Cliff's name.
